Check out my 'Friday Faves' for February 2019, lol say that three times fast! Friday Faves is a monthly feature on the second Friday of every month where I showcase items, books, food, beauty products, anything that's inspiring, uplifting or just makes you smile. Hope you enjoy!
Clockwise from top middle:
1. luxe, interiors + design magazine (January/February 2019 issue)
I have always loved this magazine, it's a great source for design, lifestyle, trends and inspiration. The feature article I found most interesting is the 'People in Design 2019' starting on pg.185. The article not only showcases images of the great spaces; but it's also broken up into five categories.
- Color (love the pops of color as we get ready for spring)
2. Diptyque Candles Jasmin (2.4 oz) & Iris (1.23 oz) Scents
These candles are amazing, wonderful scents that truly fill the room and the wick burns slowly so candles last. Jasmin & Iris are new scents i'm trying. The iris mini candle (1.23oz) was a gift with purchase (love a freebie) that I received while buying my fav scent - the 'Baies'. In our house we enjoy the 'Baies' scent because it's a great balanced scent that works for all spaces of our home; it's a mix of roses and blackcurrant leaves.
3. Essence magazine (February 2019 issue)
I have subscribed to Essence magazine for as long as I can remember. This is one magazine I can say I read cover to cover I even read the advertisements! It's a great source for self- reflection, positivity, style, beauty and bringing light to people doing amazing work in this world. Check out cover girl Regina Hall, I can't believe she's been in the business for 20years t . truly talented!
4. Valentine's Day Cards Sheffield Home & Design Focus (by way of Home Goods)
I couldn't resist these cute valentine's day cards for my sons teachers. My husband is in construction, lol yes I work in the interior design field and he's in construction (but I always say he came into my industry - hey I was here first). Anyways our son naturally loves construction too so these cards are perfect, thanks Home Goods!
5. 15N Night Master Eyeshadow Palette by Morphe
I can't fully take credit for this find but it is a current favorite. My little sister sent this to me for my birthday at the end of last year. It's the first time I've tried the Morphe brand and I'm so glad she got it for me. The palette is perfect on my skin tone and has a mix of matte and blended shimmer shadows to create sultry looks. Valentine's Day here I come!
Try out some of my faves and let me know what you think!
